 "Best
Cheap Eats"
Atlantic City Magazine - 1999
"How do they do it? The Irish Pub offers $1.95 lunch specials
every day of the week, from 11:30am to 2pm. That's soup/sandwich combo that might
include...hot roast beef, meatballs, mushroom soup or minestrone. Two dinner
specials are offered for $5.95 every day until 8pm...With prices like these, who can
afford to eat at home? |

A Philadelphia
institution, the Irish Pub is a combination Dublin saloon and an
all-American neighborhood bar. These lively places feature
turn-of-the-century hand-carved cherrywood bars surrounded by
period tile. Booths line the walls, which are adorned with
sports, theater and political memorabilia. Private dining
rooms are available. Open
11am-2am daily. L, D, LN, $ MCC. At both
Philadelphia locations, ask about the famous Happy
Hour Parties. At the 2007 Walnut St. location we also
have "End
of School" Parties. The Irish Pub's
Annual Tour de Shore, a 65 mile scenic bike ride from
Philadelphia to Atlantic City, is held every year in July to
benefit a local charity. For more information call
215-568-5603. |
